"Dear Susan! Oh, everybody has been so dear and good and lovely to me, Marilla. I'm not ungrateful--and perhaps--when this horrible ache grows a little less--I'll find that I can go on living."
Updated 13th February, 2:50 PM: It isn't exactly breaking news but this is an interesting extra. According to GameSpot's recent article, the Nintendo Switch can actually connect 10 devices together, as opposed to the original eight. It doesn't make much of a difference in terms of Splatoon 2 as only eight people can play the game at once, but two people can spectate...which is...fun? I think.Good morning, ladies and gents. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and Splatoon 2 will shortly be getting a global testfire event in March.
If you haven't heard it yet, CD Projekt Red has just launched a new studio, Spokko, which will solely focus on mobile games. While we don't know exactly what'll be coming out of it just yet, we've got a lot to hope for. Lead by Maciej Weiss and Rafal Staszewski, it's said in the announcement article that Spokko will have access to CDPR's intellectual property. There are a couple of Witcher(ish) games on the App Store already, but perhaps with this new development we'll see more from the company in terms of Projekt Red's existing IPs, Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077, and maybe some new ones too.I know Gwent is a small thing to hope for compared to what games could come out of the new studio, but I'll wait as long as it takes."We were elated to hear that CD PROJEKT believes in our idea. Our cooperation with Rafal and other members of the team goes back a long way. We have substantial experience with casual game development, but this time around we want to work on a far more advanced and ambitious project, offering new possibilities for gamers. It's a very exciting challenge," says Spokko co-creator, Maciej Weiss.Spokko's already looking to hire a 3D animator, Game Developer, ART QA, Network Programmer, and more over on its website.Kamen Rider: Chou Climax Heroes(MOD)Since Grumpy Cat's Worst Game Ever has been out in the world, it's nice to know that Lucky Kat has been working on something just as exciting. Introducing: Road Warriors. Our next game is Road Warriors and is in full development by @TurtleBlaze. Oh, and did I say it's very cool? ?? #indiedev #gamedev #pixelart pic.twitter.com/wztKK7ZxnN— Lucky Kat (@LuckyKatStudios) February 21, 2017 Road Warriors is a pretty, pixel art, combat racer, mixed up with a ton of gnarly destruction. Made by TurtleBlaze and published by Lucky Kat, the game was originally coming out on Steam as Intergalactic Road Warriors, but that's on hold for now. However, these races are far from clean as you can use all sort of weapons and power-ups to beat your competitors and cross the finish line first.According to TurtleBlaze's Steam update post in December, to complete the game for PC they needed more time and didn't have the funds to get the most out of what they wanted the game to be.Though they're still planning on ways to complete the game for PC, Lucky Kat's hopped on board and together they'll be bringing the game to iOS and Android first. You can read about it on their update post here.
Stranger Things 3: The Game is the mobile game adaptation of Netflix's hugely popular Stranger Things series. It's pretty much a top-down adventure game in the vein of something like Zombies Ate My Neighbours, and it's out now for Nintendo Switch.Fans of the show will probably want to check it out to get a deeper look at the third season's story, though it certainly looks good enough to draw in random punters who maybe aren't as familiar with Eleven and the gang.
But Leslie was brusque and curt when Anne thanked her, and again the latter felt thrown back upon herself.
Serving coffee to humans can be a handful. You need only to pop into your local Starbucks and observe the chaos to know this. But aliens, I'd wager, are even fussier about their coffee. Don't believe me? Find out for yourself in Super Barista. It came out today on iOS but we had a look at it back in June.It is, essentially, a tower defence game about throwing cups of coffee at things that belong in the Mos Eisley Cantina. You need to design a coffee in such a fashion that vending machines, tables, and robotic coffee vendors are positioned for maximum efficiency. The other test is ensuring each alien species gets its preferred type of coffee.
We first wrote about BeMuse last year, an upcoming adventure/puzzle game from the developer of the charming Incoboto. Since then the demonic puzzler has evolved quite significantly, but its nature and art style remains equally intriguing. The most notable change is the aesthetic. The original concept was a 2D sidescroller similar to Fluttermind's previous game, but now the game has changed to full 3D, its levels akin to dark rain-swept dioramas.Gameplay-wise, BeMuse still revolves around a little boy, a mysterious island, and myriad secrets. While the game was initially going to be procedural and more like a roguelike, BeMuse is now a focused puzzle adventure, as you uncover rituals to summon and manipulate demonic entities.BeMuse is still in development, without a release date, but is confirmed for iOS and Android. You can follow the game's progress on Fluttermind's Twitter page.
Upon her head a platted hive of straw,
Black Desert Mobile is one of the most promising MMOs headed to iOS and Android this year. It’s a port of the popular Black Desert Online, which received a remaster in 2018. This new version makes numerous concessions for mobile players, meaning that it doesn’t allow you to pick up from where you left off on PC, PS4, or Xbox One.Black Desert Mobile – What is the best character class for Black Desert Mobile and what is a Family Name?Despite the apparent simplifying of core gameplay and questing, Black Desert Online looks to be a convincing and (hopefully) polished port, boasting some terrific visuals and combat animations. The mobile port also gives the original Black Desert’s maps and in-game content ‘a complete facelift’, and it’s running on a new in-house engine that ‘breaks the boundaries of previous graphical limits’.The Farmer and the Fox
