Today Mangatar announced the soft launch of Asgard Rift: Battle Arena in the UK and Italy on iOS.Already available as a beta on the Google Play store, Asgard Rift is a tactical card game in which you explore a fantastical land and battle other players real-time. Collect chests to discover new cards hidden away and runes to unlock and upgrade new fighters. It's as much a game about strategy as chess. If you don't go into a match with some sort of plan, you'll probably lose so it's time to be smart. As the game goes on you have a chance to collect rare and legendary cards to give you an advantage but keep your head out of the clouds until then.If you're in the UK or Italy, check out the game here on the App Store free-to-play. Or if you're an Android user, check out the beta here on Google Play.
Mini Golf Battle Royale Cracked Edition(no watching ads to get Rewards)The one a palate hath that needs will taste,SPHAZE is an upcoming puzzle game from developer SUBPIXELS, who you may know from their previous match-three game Zombiebucket. SPHAZE meanwhile, will be a maze based puzzler and it is set to release for both iOS and Android on July 2nd.The developer describes the game as being a blend of the puzzles you'd find in a game like Cut the Rope but with the presentation of something like Monument Valley. Two titans of the mobile gaming industry to draw inspiration from that's for sure. While we can't yet comment on the gameplay, it certainly does look very pretty. The environments are designed to look like locations from the real world whilst also adding both fantasy and sci-fi elements. It definitely an art style that would grab your attention whilst scrolling through the new releases section on the App Store, but as always, looks aren't everything, so what does the gameplay offer? The aim of the SPHAZE is to manipulate the various mazes you'll come across so that a bunch of robots can make their way through them. The controls will apparently be easy to use, requiring players to twist and drag their way through each new conundrum they're faced with. There is also an element of exploration to SPHAZE as you pass through the various locales. Your puzzle-based journey will take you through lava-filled volcanoes, rocky valleys, idyllic lakes and colder looking metallic areas. Whether or not there's a story that ties this altogether remains to be seen.SPHAZE is available for pre-order now over on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its release on 2nd July. It will be a premium game that will cost $4.99.On the hunt for more puzzle games to tease your brain with? Here are 25 of the best available on iPhone and iPad

A rumour has been rumbling about Xbox Live coming to Android, iOS, and Switch for a while now, but Microsoft has just straight-up announced it now. Which is really weird, but OK!The news comes as Microsoft also announced that it would be bundling all its services into an SDK called Game Stack. I don't understand any of it, but our friends at PocketGamer.biz have a bit more deets on it.For our purposes, the most interesting bit of news is that Xbox Live is included in the SDK. That means access to achievements, Gamerscore, friends lists, and family settings will be available on games that have the Game Stack SDK installed, which opens up the Xbox ecosystem a fair bit on mobile. It's also cross-platform, so any saves you have can be saved on the Cloud and shared between your iOS and Android devices, and presumably on Xbox as well. The SDK is also being designed to be supported by Switch games, so developers could, in theory, add Xbox Live stuff to the Switch. So hey! Maybe you'll be able to get achievements and Gamerscore while playing Super Mario Odyssey in the future. I mean, probably not - this'll be used largely for third-party, multiplatform releases, surely - but the option is there if Nintendo wants to get in on it.More details are set to come from GDC next week, but by that point I'll be in a cabin in the woods reading a book, so someone else will have to cover that. Is it the weekend yet?
