She stood just where the warm yellow light flooded her from the open door. She wore a plain dress of cheap, cream-tinted cotton voile, with the usual girdle of crimson. Leslie was never without her touch of crimson. She had told Anne that she never felt satisfied without a gleam of red somewhere about her, if it were only a flower. To Anne, it always seemed to symbolise Leslie's glowing, pent-up personality, denied all expression save in that flaming glint. Leslie's dress was cut a little away at the neck and had short sleeves. Her arms gleamed like ivory-tinted marble. Every exquisite curve of her form was outlined in soft darkness against the light. Her hair shone in it like flame. Beyond her was a purple sky, flowering with stars over the harbor.

Mega Man X Dive is Capcom's newest mobile take on their long-standing franchise. It's set to eventually release on both iOS and Android. You can register for the beta on the official site now so long as you're on Android, Apple users will have to wait for now. Registrations are open until 22nd August.The game itself will aim to be an authentic Mega Man experience, taking on the form of a side-scrolling shooter with all the jumping, climbing and dashing you'd expect. Despite being a 2D perspective the game was developed in 3D in an attempt to give players a greater feeling of depth in combat.Whether or not a true Mega Man experience can be achieved on mobile remains to be seen. Apple's next 10 inch tablet is called the iPad Air 2, and it's much thinner and more powerful than its predecessor.It's just 6.1 mm thin - 18 percent slimmer than the iPad Air. Apple showed that two iPad Air 2s stacked on top of one another is still thinner than the original iPad.Inside, it's got a new A8X chip - a beefy second-gen 64 bit processor. And there's also the M8 motion coprocessor which even has a barometer if you're an old times fisherman.The camera has been bumped up, too, with a new 8MP iSight snapper capable of burst shots, timelapse, 120 frames per second slow-mo, and 43 megapixel panoramas. There are also duel microphones, and a better front-facing camera too.It's got faster wi-fi, extended 4G, the same 10-hour battery life, and anti-reflective coating on the screen so it should be easier to play games outside in the sunlight.It also features the nifty Touch ID sensor, which turns the home button into a fingerprint scanner to protect your iPad against thieves and nosey family members. You can also use it to buy apps without a password.The iPad Air 2 will cost the usual iPad price - starting at $499 for a 16GB wi-fi and $629 for a 16GB 3G/4G device.
